The popular webtoon Solo Leveling will be getting an anime adaptation. This exciting news has been met with great enthusiasm from fans as it has been frequently listed among series that sorely need an anime adaptation. Written by Chugong, Solo Leveling is a webtoon series first serialized on KakaoPage in March 2018. Over the past years, the colored comic has garnered a large reader fanbase and is about to appear in the anime franchise. The news of Solo Leveling's anime adaptation was first revealed at Crunchyroll’s Anime Expo 2022 Industry Panel. Reports also reveal that A-1 Pictures will handle the adaptation of the popular webtoon. The adaptation will be a collaboration between Crunchyroll & A-1 Pictures, as the show will premiere on the streaming platform.
